Yumeji locates Merry at a park with Minato Kisaragi, a child struggling to make friends. After playing together, Yumeji demonstrates his ability and learns Minato suffers from nightmares. He enters her daydream, where a dream demon named Ichima seeks to use Minato as a vessel by preventing her from socializing. Merry arrives and empowers Minato to assert herself, leading to Ichima’s banishment. Back in reality, Minato proceeds to make friends, while Merry departs alone.
