Mei Hoshino, president of the Yumeji literature club, exchanges messages with a mysterious boy named Chris Evergreen. She joins club members Takateru Akiyanagi and Saki Kirishima for karaoke with Merry, while Isana attempts to befriend transfer student Chizuru Kawanami. Later, Mei arrives at the café claiming Chris stood her up, but she begins acting strangely and texting herself. Yumeji discovers Mei is possessed by Chris, who is a dream demon, and pursues her into her daydream. Merry arrives to defeat Chris before he can attack. As Chris vanishes, Mei views him and leaves happily. Consequently, Yumeji agrees to collaborate with Merry to locate nightmares, and she begins working part-time at the café.
