Lu Sheng confronts Shizuno regarding her recent behavior and her true identity as Yehl while they share a meal in the Maihama server. Meanwhile, Kyo and Ryoko engage in a fierce battle against Sin and Abyss using the Anti-Zegapain Coatlicue to protect the Maihama server. The defenders suffer a crushing defeat when their mecha is destroyed. Unbeknownst to Kyo and Ryoko, Lu Sheng, Shizuno, and all other individuals involved remain alive despite the catastrophic loss of the server and their equipment during the conflict.
