Shizuno tends to Shima, disclosing that he is a clone of the original Shima, a Gards-orm who betrayed his species to restore humanity. Meanwhile, Minato assumes command of the Oceanus. The Cerebrants initiate their Final Plan, known as Project Resurrection. Concurrently, the Gards-orm accelerate the expansion of their destructive Deutera Areas across the Earth, escalating the global threat as these factions advance their respective agendas in a critical turning point for the ongoing conflict.
