Ep. 1: The Mage in the Barrel

Hakaze Kusaribe, known as the Magician of Genesis, regains consciousness on a deserted island after being left inside a barrel. Later, Yoshino Takigawa visits the grave of his girlfriend Aika Fuwa, where he is confronted by Evangeline Yamamoto. She demands to know the location of Mahiro, who is Aika's brother. Mahiro soon arrives at the scene, allowing him and Yoshino to escape. Their departure coincides with a mysterious affliction that strikes almost everyone else, transforming their bodies into metal.
