While searching for additional talismans, Yoshino and Mahiro are confronted by members of the Kusaribe Clan, who are led by Tetsuma, an aide to Samon. The pair manages to escape this encounter and subsequently meets Junichirou Hoshimura, a friend of Hakaze, to retrieve a powerful talisman she had previously left in his care. However, Junichirou shocks them by revealing that Hakaze is already deceased, a fact he personally confirmed. This revelation significantly alters their understanding of their situation as they continue their quest for talismans amidst the unexpected news regarding their ally.
