Ep. 2: Mahiro and Yoshino investigate Aika's murder while confronting Samon's aide in the ruined city.

Yoshino discovers that Mahiro agreed to Hakaze’s proposal to identify Aika’s killer in return for assistance in halting the Tree of Exodus resurrection. This ritual is being directed by Samon, the individual who betrayed Hakaze and caused her exile. After employing magic to trace the culprit, the pair finds no evidence, leading them to suspect a member of the Kusaribe Clan. While searching the devastated city for talismans left by Hakaze, they encounter Samon’s assistant, Natsumura. Defying Hakaze’s explicit instructions, Mahiro chooses to confront Natsumura directly.
