Mahiro and Yoshino persuade Hakaze and the others to help destroy the Tree of Genesis, despite initial reluctance. Following Mahiro's plan, Hakaze and Megumu distract naval forces while the group hijacks small boats near the main core to ensure safety. As Megumu approaches the Tree to deliver the final blow, a captive unexpectedly draws a pistol and shoots at Yoshino, creating a sudden crisis during the operation.
