Van Flyheight has served in the military for one year under Colonel Krueger, successfully completing a simulation test against Command Wolves and Pteras without an organoid. Emperor Rudolph issues a warning to the Republic President as a fast underground Zoid destroys main bases for both the Empire and Republic. Van returns to the Wind Colony, reflecting on past events involving Zeke and Fiona. Meanwhile, Fiona travels with a sick Dr. D and is attacked by the Stealth Viper. Van intervenes to assist them. Back at the Colony, the Priest treats Fiona and Dr. D, ensuring they make a complete recovery from their injuries sustained during the ambush.
