Two Stealth Storm Sworders are transported to a Dragon Head Base near the Red River as a peace symbol, escorted by Mueller and Major Ralph from the Imperial Air Base Ebinar. Irvine and Van travel there in Moonbay's Gustav, questioning why Raven spared them. They learn Shadow ordered the retreat, not the Geno Saurer or Raven. Major Ralph and Mueller, aided by Hiltz's red organoid Ambient, steal the aircraft. Upon arrival, Van and his group discover the theft, which has become a Guardian Force headline. Their mission is to recover the stolen units. Van deduces the thieves will return for the Command Options, as the aircraft lack them, and devises a strategy to trap them upon their return.
