Following severe damage to the Command Wolf and its Zoid Core by Raven, pilot Irvine remains hospitalized. Dr. D unveils the Lightning Saix, a new ultra-fast Zoid developed for the Empire. Thomas demands an immediate test run, during which the unit destroys Saber Fangs and Helcats in minutes. The pilot loses consciousness after launching anti-Zoid missiles and is ejected for safety. The Lightning Saix memory bank sustains heavy damage. Irvine leaves his hospital bed to inspect his damaged Command Wolf. Meanwhile, Emperor Rudolph holds a conference near the base where Irvine and others are present. The Madam President travels to the location in a white Hammerhead.
