After healing and repairing the Blade Liger, Van conducts a test run that reveals sluggish performance due to worn motion systems and his previous overuse. Dr. D explains the machine is no longer sufficient for Van and introduces semi-functional boosters to enhance its potential. Moonbay attempts to test these boosters on her Gustav, but the attempt fails and causes erratic movement. Dr. D then attaches functional boosters to the Blade Liger for a new test. Prior to this run, Fiona wishes to discuss a strange occurrence involving Zeke, but Van insists on handling the matter after the test is completed.
