Harumi Fujiyoshi listens to a Zetsubō Sensei radio show while creating yaoi dōjinshi, featuring a segment on age indifference and new character Manami Ōkusa, a married high school student. Nozomu critiques societal duties that force individuals to meet trivial expectations, while Kafuka notes the irony that he too relies on students fulfilling their duty to care for him. Later, Nozomu despairs over society’s tendency to treat serious matters casually. After student Rin Itoshiki appears, Nozomu and his class decide to counter this trend by approaching trivial issues with serious attitudes, a habit that eventually becomes addictive for everyone involved.
