In a separate narrative, Nozomu is expelled from a café because a Jyuken student is irritated by him, with the manager citing societal norms that prioritize exam-prep students. Attempting to leverage this trend, Nozomu becomes a student himself and passes every global certification exam except the one assessing readiness for suicide.
