A reserved lawyer named Matsuno wakes up next to a male sex worker named Rin after a night of heavy drinking. Rin, described as resembling a stray cat, has no stable home and supports himself through the city's nightlife by finding clients. A few days later, Matsuno encounters Rin again while he is looking for another customer. Impulsively, Matsuno approaches him and says he is not gay and will not engage in a sexual relationship, but offers him shelter and meals instead. The two develop a complex relationship marked by affection and confusion.
