Majo to Kyurasu
魔女とくゅらす
A witch in 16th century Europe aids her young apprentice in evading a witch hunt before vanishing. Centuries later, in modern Japan, the apprentice locates her, only to discover the former powerful witch is now a disinterested, melancholic woman who spends her time smoking by the window. The narrative unfolds as a relaxed, unconventional comedy centered on the tension between the diligent apprentice and her indifferent, unmotivated teacher.
