Seoreunui Bom

At twenty-nine and on the edge of her thirties, the narrator finds her mind crowded with comparisons. Set beside friends in happy marriages or those who have reached their goals, she feels small and unremarkable. At work she is talked down to for being a contract employee, and at home she is pushed about getting married. She keeps telling herself this is normal and that everyone lives this way, yet almost overnight both her marriage plans and her hope of a permanent position collapse. So she steps into her thirties with nothing in her hands.
