Tae Guk

A three-year-old boy named Tae-eul falls from a hot air balloon during a family trip when a storm hits, landing him in a lake known as "Lake of the Shadows," where he is bitten by a snake. A man from an "enchanted forest" rescues him. Ten years later, Tae-eul lives in a village and attends a school called Chaoring, where he practices martial arts. However, he struggles to improve due to a lack of determination. After the death of his father, a thirteen-year-old boy named Zin-lyong arrives at Tae-eul's school. The two become friends and start training together.
