Yoshichou Hanakage Jigoku

During the Edo period in Yoshichou, Ichika, the heir to Shisenrou—a teahouse and male brothel—rescues a young man named Noa from drowning. Unbeknownst to her, Noa was en route to be sold to Shisenrou as a male prostitute. Ichika later assumes control of the establishment, and Noa becomes its most sought-after performer. Amid the greed and desire of the red-light district, their fates intertwine. The narrative explores the complex relationship between Ichika and Noa, a brothel hostess and a male prostitute, whose bond is constrained by the rigid social structures of the time.
