Ai no Kusabi

A society on planet Amoi is centered around the computerized city Tanagura, governed by the supercomputer Jupiter. The population is predominantly male and divided by hair color, with silver and blond individuals at the top and dark-haired individuals at the bottom, referred to as "mongrels." Blond individuals are permitted to keep young male companions known as "pets," primarily for voyeuristic purposes, though long-term relationships or sexual contact is discouraged. Iason Mink, a blond, has kept a pet named Riki for an extended period and is rumored to have a sexual relationship with him, despite Jupiter's opposition. Riki struggles with his feelings and societal pressures, particularly regarding his former friend or lover, Gai, and his affiliated group. Iason is determined to retain Riki, while Riki is uncertain whether to resist or comply.
