レキはシャドウとレースをするが敗れ、その後、レンはスノーボードのスキルを活用してリデンプションレースでの勝利へと導く。

Reki partakes in S, a skateboard race, and challenges Shadow in said race, of which he loses after crashing into a wall, which injures his left arm. In class the next day, he learns of a new transfer student, named Langa, who after school runs into Reki and ends up getting hired to help deliver a client their skateboard. However, that night when they leave, Reki grabs the wrong skateboard by mistake and they must win the race against Shadow to make up for it. Langa participants, and after a poor start, he uses his skills in snowboarding to help him, which helps him catch up and take a lead on the home stretch.

Langa want to learn how to use a skateboard properly, so Reki teaches him. Meanwhile, people online learn of Lange beating Shadow, one of those being Miya. Later on, Langa goes to Reki's house so Reki can get a manual on skateboarding and end up meeting Reki's family. Reki makes Langa a custom board using his observations from him practicing. Langa later reveals that his family moved to Japan due to his father's death. The next day in the skateboarding shop, Miya challenges Langa to S.

レキの助力でミアとレースを繰り広げるアランと、侮辱を受けた後にアダムに挑戦する

Miya and Langa agree to the challenge. Afterwards, Langa practices skateboarding with Reki. After which, they learn that despite his appearance, Miya isn't having fun while skateboarding. The race starts, and using a custom-made skateboard from Reki and special tricks, Langa manages to beat Miya. After an emotional moment between Reki and Miya, Adam comes in and insults Miya, which prompts Reki to ask him to take it back. When he refuses, Reki challenges him to a race.

Adam accepts Reki's challenge on the condition Langa races if he wins. Reki and Langa learn from Joe that Adam is the founder of S. Despite Miya, Joe, and Langa's advice to withdraw the challenge, Reki decides to pursue it anyway. During the race, Adam gives Reki a head start and pulls him into a dangerous dance. As Reki loses hope, Langa inspires him to perform a railslide, a trick he learned from Miya, on one of the turns. After passing Reki, Adam performs his love hug, where he turns around and skates uphill towards Reki, causing the latter to panic, fall off his skateboard, and lose.

Reki suffers heavy injuries in his beef against Adam. Now, Langa must go on a beef against Adam. Reki doesn't want to feel what he has in the past and tells Langa to stop, but Langa's strong determination is unwavering. Reki and Langa seek out Cherry Blossom and Joe to hear more stories about Adam. There, a tactical meeting in order to win against Adam is held. 不気味な噂に包まれた宮古島温泉へ、暦とレンが訪れる

Reki, Langa, Miya, and Shadow travel to Miyako-jima for the hot springs, along with Cherry and Joe. During their time, Reki begins feeling discouraged when he sees how quickly Langa is improving and confides his insecurities to Joe. In the evening, the six go on a skateboard race to the hot springs amidst warnings of hauntings taking place. When, Langa returns to help a frightened Reki, the two discover that Shadow and Miya have been attacked by the spirits. The spirits then ambush Reki and Langa, as well as Cherry and Joe, who won the race to the hot springs. The next morning, the six wonder who attacked them, unaware that the Paantu festival had been taking place on the previous evening. Meanwhile, Adam decides to hold a tournament for S.

Reki begins to feel inferior towards Langa and avoids him. Meanwhile, Adam colludes with Takano, a politician, while announcing a tournament that evening. However, Kiriko uncovers the bribe and arrests Takano, while Adam orders his secretary, Tadashi, to take the blame for him instead. While practicing, Reki becomes more discouraged about his own skateboarding after failing to jump as high as Langa. As Langa, Shadow, Miya, Cherry, and Joe qualify for the tournament, Tadashi also enters under the name "Snake" against Adam's will, on the condition that Adam quits skateboarding if he wins. Meanwhile, Reki remains cold to Langa, and both of them receive advice from their families on their personal struggles. Under the advice of Joe, Reki goes undercover at the next S to watch the tournament. Shadow wins in his beef, while Langa is selected to race against Joe in the next one. (Source: Wikipedia)

During their beef, Joe gains a lead over Langa. Langa nearly loses interest in the race, but he wins with Reki's encouragement, despite breaking his board in the process. However, Reki realizes he prefers skating with his friends over supporting them and leaves S before Langa can find him. Cherry is selected as Adam's opponent in the next beef, and despite gaining an advantage, Adam strikes Cherry's face with his skateboard near the end of the race, knocking him out and winning. ミヤがタダシに敗れ、レイキが襲撃されるも後にレンと和解する

Miya goes up against Tadashi and loses, while Tadashi laments to himself about taking Adam down the wrong path. Langa tries to look for Reki, but he was absent at school at taking time off from work. Meanwhile, Shadow is attacked. Later, the store manager finds Reki beat-up in an alley and talks him into seeing Shadow in the hospital, but he runs into Langa on his way. He runs out and ends up getting hit by a car. As it turns out, Tadashi was driving it. He later tells Reki to quit skateboarding, but Reki ends up convincing him that it's fun. Later, Reki meets with Langa and they skateboard together. After they crash into each other, they share a heart-felt exchange and renew their friendship. However, Adam, who was watching, was dismayed by this, so he decided that Reki will be Shadow's replacement. (Source: Wikipedia)
