Takeru, who has temporarily returned to his original world and meets up with Sumika, which stregthens his resolve to save the parallel world and return back here for good. After he goes back, on December 4 2001, Takeru sees news reports of people being forcibly evacuated from their homes by the Imperial Japanese Army in areas that are not allowed to live in anymore.
