A Mythical Pokémon named Volcanion falls from the sky and forms a mysterious connection with Ash. Initially hostile toward humans, Volcanion resists Ash but must take him along on a mission. They reach a city made of gears and cogs where a corrupt minister has taken control of Magearna, an Artificial Pokémon created 500 years ago. The minister intends to use Magearna's power to dominate the mechanical kingdom. Ash and Volcanion must team up to save Magearna. A major battle is about to take place.
