8 Nis 1981The episode opens up with Tori being drawn and scribbling all over a white background which then breaks to a cliff over the ocean. Ultraman who is on top of the cliff is seen using a fishing pole to bring the Sun up. The setting shifts over to Penguin Village where Mr. Pig announces that day time has arrived to the village. The story begins at the Norimaki Residence where Senbei Norimaki, the towns goofy inventor creates an android named Arale. Before even attached to her body, Arale already was annoying Senbei making him regret making the head first. When she is finally attached to her body she became disappointed when she finds out that she cannot shoot rockets out of her stomach. When Senbei has her test her eyesight it showed that she was foresighted making her need glasses to see correctly. Next, Senbei must go to town to get her clothes. At the store, he was able to get everything fine, but the last thing he needed to get was panties. He was afraid to buy girl panties because it would make him look like a pervert. He decides to buy a dress and make up. In the restroom, he shaves his facial hair, puts on a dress and make up to make himself look like a woman so he can buy the panties without people thinking he was a pervert. When he got back to his house, Arale put the clothes on and Senbei decides to take her out to see if people could be convinced if she is a real girl. They arrive at the Coffee Pot where one of Senbei's friends, Aoi Kimidori, works. He introduces Arale to her and says she is his younger sister. Aoi asks how old Arale is and Arale says that she was just created, but Senbei jumps in and says she is 13. Afterwards, when they leave out the door of the Coffee Pot, Arale runs into the street and a speeding police car driven by Gala and Pagos drives into Arale, but the car breaks while Arale peacefully sits there leaving everyone watching shocked. Arale starts her first day of school. She wakes up Senbei by putting a grenade in his mouth. At the school, Senbei introduces Arale to the Headmaster. Arale is put in Ms. Yamabuki's class where she is sat next to Akane Kimidori who she considers to be her new best friend. She follows Akane to her friends Peasuke and Taro. She gains all there respect and is accepted as there frinds when she easily takes down a tree with her bear hands. While being with her new friends, they run into Gala and Pagos who take them down to the Police Station. Arale beats them up for touching her new friends. Later that night, Senbei recieves a call from the Gyaosu to pick up Arale and her friends. (Source: Dr. Slump Wikia)

15 Nis 1981Everybody in Penguin Village Junior High is asking Arale to join their clubs but Arale seems too good for all of them. Arale comes home from school and tells Senbei that the girls at school said that she is missing a part of the body that the other girls had. Senbei makes a pair of glasses that see through peoples clothes so he can see girls naked and "find out what she is missing". In the end it actually was a belly button that she was missing. 22 Nis 1981Senbei shows Arale his newest invention, The Time Slipper a board with a talking clock that can travel time. Arale accidentally gets lost in ancient Japan with the Time Slipper. Senbei gathers Arale and Peasuke to come along to a trip on the Time Slipper to the prehistoric ages to catch a dinosaur. While failing to get a dinosaur they meet Peasuke's prehistoric ancestor who gives them a rare egg in exchange for Senbei's lighter. 6 May 1981After the strange baby hatched from the egg, Arale and Senbei try to raise it. They find out that it eats metal and is powerful after it survives a long fall after Arale threw it to high on accident. Later at night in the bath, Arale and Senbei discover that it has wings. They decide to name it Gadzilla but "Gatchan" for short and then keep it as a member of the family. However, this barber machine is a failed robot. Arale and Gatchan meet a Bank Robber while playing outside. The Bank Robber tries to use them as hostages, but instead becomes fightened at them because Arale didn't get hurt when accidentally shooting herself with his gun and Gatchan nibbled a part of his gun when he tried to it as hostage.
