第 47 集: SaberLeomon與MetalEtemon展開激戰，Puppetmon則與DigiDestined正面對決，上演一場關於榮譽與友誼的較量。

After saving Joe and Mimi from MetalEtemon, SaberLeomon reveals himself to their old friend Leomon after he gained the ability to warp digivolve from his exposure to the Digivices. Leomon brings them to the ruin remains of Digitamamon's diner where they find a group of Gekomon and Otamamon hiding in before they are attacked by MetalEtemon. Leomon becomes SaberLeomon to fight MetalEtemon, only to end up mortally wounded after taking a hit intended for Mimi when she attempted to stop the violence. A furious Joe allows an equally enraged Zudomon to attack MetalEtemon, using his Vulcan's Hammer to crack MetalEtemon's metallic body so SaberLeomon can land the deathblow. At the same time, after reaching his mansion, Puppetmon faces the DigiDestined with his army of RedVegiemon before Garudamon destroys his Bullet Hammer. In response, Puppetmon activates his manor's robot mode to hold off the DigiDestined while he attempts to escape. But Puppetmon end up running into Matt and MetalGarurumon, who fatally wounds the puppet with a point-blank range Metal Wolf Claw. A dying Puppetmon some comes to the realization that Cherrymon was warning him that the Digidestineds' strength is their bonds of friendship. Seeing Puppetmon's territory fading as Leomon died after he and Ogremon make their peace, Mimi regains her will to fight as she and Joe decide to gather more reinforcements while Tai's group continue fighting the remaining Dark Masters on their own.
