Ash and Iris are on their way to Striaton City Gym. At Accumula Town, they find the Battle Club owned by Don George. After watching a battle between a Servine and a Dewott, Ash challenges the Dewott's owner just before a security breach occurs. Ash sees a Pokémon's dark shape on the security tape, and mistakes it for an Umbreon, only to find an abandoned Tepig with a rope tied around its mouth, during which Team Rocket arrives to raid the storage to capture Pikachu.
