Retsuko attends driving school and befriends a donkey named Tadano. Her company organizes a Family Appreciation Day where departments manage food stalls. Director Ton assigns Retsuko and Anai to handle the Accounting Department’s contribution. Retsuko avoids Anai by working alone. Haida notes Anai’s refusal to help, triggering Anai’s defense mechanism. He sends emails detailing attacks on his personality and demands written responses from Haida.
