She later discusses the situation with Gori and Washimi, who advise her to ease up on Anai. However, upon seeking him out, she finds he has taken leave after faxing Director Ton to claim she abused him. Fearing for her safety, Retsuko resolves to run away by learning to drive and enrolls in a driving course to obtain a license.
