Ep. 6: Ton quits his job while Kabae faces layoff pressures and Haida gains attention

Ton resigns from his position but maintains a facade for his family. Retsuko and colleagues notice Kabae working harder and appearing less lively, leading them to suspect management is targeting her for layoffs. Kabae misses work when her youngest son falls ill. Despite Retsuko, Haida, and Anai covering her duties, higher management eventually convinces Kabae to resign. Meanwhile, Haida’s dedication and rapid task completion attract the interest of Himuro.
