Peace at the cottage is disrupted when Tina introduces a ferret, sparking a conflict between it and Miyabi. The animal first takes Miyabi’s favorite pen and then locates a button missing from Taeko. Frustrated, Miyabi isolates herself in her office, ignoring all attempts to communicate. The ferret waits outside the door, but when Miyabi remains inside, it attempts to climb a grandfather clock positioned next to the room to reach her. This effort results in the ferret falling behind the heavy furniture. The situation escalates into a potential life-or-death emergency for the small creature, raising questions about whether Miyabi will assist in rescuing it from its precarious position.
