Yukito and Misuzu encounter a sudden environmental shift from the shrine to cropland triggered by Kano's experience. Following a confrontation with Hijiri, the group briefly visits the clinic before Yukito and Misuzu depart for home. On their way, Yukito realizes he has not received payment for his part-time job. He sneaks back into the clinic and overhears Kano's other personality.
