The episode features flashbacks of Yukito’s mother explaining that a girl with wings will forget everything and die upon having her final dream, taking those close to her with her. Misuzu’s foster mother departs, leaving Yukito and Misuzu alone. Misuzu reveals her last dream to Yukito, who decides to remain by her side despite knowing the fatal consequences. Yukito subsequently vanishes. When Misuzu wakes up feeling better, she is left wondering about his whereabouts and whether he will ever return to her.
