Ep. 8: Winged Kanna flees confinement with Uraha and Ryūya to find her mother

Set 1000 years before the main narrative, Kanna lives with wings inside a palace alongside her friend Uraha and bodyguard Ryūya. When Kanna faces transfer to a different temple, the trio escapes their confinement to embark on a journey seeking Kanna's mother. During their travel, the palace suffers an attack, prompting pursuers to chase the fugitives. The group eventually locates Kanna's mother, but she refuses to stay with them and orders them to depart immediately.
