Ep. 17: Chelsea Disguises as Bols to Assassinate Kurome After Surviving Explosion

Following the Rubicante explosion, Bols is killed by a disguised Chelsea using a poisoned needle. She requests reinforcements from Lubbock before impersonating Bols to hunt Kurome. Night Raid debriefs on their Jaeger skirmish until Lubbock delivers the message. Kurome remembers her past with sister Akame, detailing their separation and her subsequent Imperial drug experiments. Chelsea, mistaken for Bols, stabs the exhausted Kurome, recalling her master’s corruption and her own rise. However, Kurome survives the poison and uses Natala and Doya to kill Chelsea. Meanwhile, Akame and Tatsumi arrive at a town where Tatsumi discovers Chelsea’s severed head displayed on a pole.
