Ep. 13: Esdeath hunts beasts while Tatsumi faces moral dilemmas with modified Danger Beasts
The prime minister orders Esdeath to eliminate the Danger Beasts from the previous episode. The Jaegars intervene during an attack on a supply wagon. Wave reflects on how merchants fear Bols due to his appearance, though Bols admits to past killings. Bols's family visits, surprising Wave. Tatsumi trains with Susanoo and argues he belongs with Night Raid, not as a tool. Night Raid receives a mission to kill modified Danger Beasts, effectively aiding the Capital. Tatsumi justifies this to save lives, prompting Chelsea to worry his kindness will cause his death. Esdeath and Run suspect Dr. Stylish created the beasts, who were once human. Tatsumi learns Lubbock’s reasons for joining Night Raid from Najenda. Finally, Tatsumi climbs a mountain alone and encounters Esdeath, who is shocked to see him.
