Allison and Wil witness Chief Conductor Welch being pushed from the train by a masked man who escapes onto the roof. After informing Ker and enlisting Major Stork, they learn Gautier Terol received a death threat. Terol isolates himself, prompting the crew to detach most cars to reach the mountain base for backup. Allison, her friends, Stork, and Terol remain on the isolated section. A military train intercepts them and opens fire after Stork shoots his weapon.
