Treize travels twenty days by motorbike from Ikstova to retrieve Lillia for summer vacation. Allison informs Lillia that she will accompany Treize to Lartika instead of her mother. Upon arrival, they stay in an expensive hotel because Treize belongs to the royal Ikstova family. The pair wander into town and become lost despite possessing a map. A young boy offers to guide them, but a policeman intervenes upon their return, citing town law that prohibits paying for such services. The following day, Lillia and Treize ride in a sightseeing plane piloted by a retired military veteran. Meanwhile, Travas reveals to Allison that a sinister plot targeting Treize and his twin sister is developing.
