Treize shoots down one aircraft, triggering an emergency beacon. He and Lillia hold off attackers until Allison arrives to destroy the remaining three planes. With rescue secured, the group must land the damaged seaplane, though Treize doubts his ability to execute the maneuver. Despite his uncertainty, he successfully pilots the craft to the surface. However, the landing is rough, causing the plane to strike bedrock just 100 meters from the shore. The impact leaves the seaplane sinking in the water, leaving the survivors in a precarious situation as the vessel goes down.
