Ep. 1: Osiris crew fights Sentinels while Jue delivers a Matrix warning before the ship is destroyed.

Captain Thadeus and Jue participate in a virtual reality sword fight that strips their clothing, ending when an alarm interrupts their kiss. Later, the hovercraft Osiris approaches Junction 21, where operator Robbie detects a Sentinel army. The ship flees into an uncharted tunnel, destroying a patrol before surfacing four kilometers above Zion. Thadeus and Jue observe Machines using giant drills to tunnel toward Zion. As the Sentinel army pursues the Osiris, Jue volunteers to enter the Matrix to warn Zion. Before departing, the pair confess to peeking at each other during the simulation and share a farewell kiss. Jue drops a package in a mailbox, initiating the Enter the Matrix video game prologue. She attempts to contact Thadeus as Sentinels board the Osiris. Thadeus makes a final stand, and the ship explodes, killing the crew. Jue collapses and dies in the Matrix as her physical body is destroyed.
