Hajime and Yue fight a six-headed hydra where each head wields unique magic and one heals the others. Yue falls victim to hypnotic fear from a second head, but Hajime rescues her with a kiss. He uses Schlagen to destroy three heads, including the healer, while Yue eliminates the rest with lightning. A surprise seventh head appears, injuring Hajime and destroying his weapon. Yue drags the unconscious Hajime to safety and attempts to fight with his pistol but is hurt. Hajime, hearing Yue cry, unconsciously boosts his speed to dodge attacks. He detonates grenades to collapse the roof on the head, allowing Yue to finish it with lightning. As the final door opens, Hajime faints from exhaustion. Meanwhile, teacher Aiko Hatayama argues with the Pope about re-entering the labyrinth, leading to an agreement involving student volunteers and Aiko’s fertility magic for agricultural support.
