Shea Haulia, a Rabbit-girl, waits for Hajime and Yue, who initially ignore her annoying behavior. She reveals her tribe faces monster threats and claims her future-seeing magic predicted Hajime would save them. He agrees to help if she guides them to a Great Tree referenced in Oscar's library. Upon arrival, Hajime eliminates monsters using Shea as bait. The rabbit-men request training to overcome their timidity. Hajime implements a harsh regimen of killing monsters or facing his wrath, transforming them into capable fighters. Shea leads them to the tree, which Hajime identifies as a labyrinth entrance requiring other labyrinths to be defeated first, indicated by a stone slab with ring slots. The rabbit-men vow to guard the site until his return. Shea, having fallen for Hajime, joins them after technically winning a duel against Yue by scratching her face.
