Hajime and the girls stay at Erisen, where Hajime struggles to leave Myu. After his mother assures him she will be safe, Hajime promises Myu he will take her to Earth once he finds a way back. As the group prepares to depart, Liliana escapes the castle because she trusts no one there, and Demon Lord forces plan a major assault on humans. Meanwhile, Commander Meld considers writing to Hajime for assistance. Daisuke arrives to speak with him, but a subordinate under hypnosis tries to kill Meld. When Meld shields Daisuke from the attack, Daisuke seizes the moment to stab him.
