Bize suffers from a fatal mana overload condition, which Ankaji’s citizens also exhibit due to poisoned water supplies. Hajime and his companions decide to assist the afflicted residents. Meanwhile, General Freid of the Demon Army learns of Cattleya’s death and the destruction of the monster army, both caused by Hajime. Freid begins preparing for a battle to kill Hajime.

They navigate rivers of molten lava to reach the core, where they find a hundred monsters guarding the area. The group attacks these guardians, and after killing the final one, a massive beam of light strikes Hajime. The girls, showing deep concern for his safety, immediately gather to protect him and prepare to retaliate fiercely against the threat.

Eri escapes with Freid while Hajime's party takes Kaori's body, planning to fully resurrect her.
