Atom travels to Space Camp to assist in designing the Horus 2 rocket, where he encounters a student named Roxanne. Upon meeting her, Atom exhibits physical signs resembling romantic affection, such as increased body temperature and a shrill voice. His roommate, Anton, who also loves Roxanne, asks Atom to help him connect with her. Atom composes a letter expressing his own feelings, which Roxanne finds moving, leading her to show interest in Anton. After Roxanne is selected as a crew member for Horus 2, Anton takes her to the rocket for a celebration. Suddenly, the rocket activates uncontrollably, threatening to crash into the moon. Atom rushes to intervene and stop the disaster.
