Takao battles Rei, an undefeated Blader, in the semifinal final match. Rei initially dominates using his Bit Beast Driger and Tiger Claw attack, destroying Takao's Bey. Kyojyu arrives late and repairs the Bey with a new Defense Ring he was developing. In the second round, Takao survives the intense fight despite the ring lacking offensive capabilities. Rei forfeits the third match, stating he has nothing left to prove, and subsequently joins the team. With the semifinals concluded, the finals are set to feature Takao against Kai.
