Ep. 10: Miyako Miyazaki's Melancholy and the First Tournament

Toraji and Tamaki receive their paychecks after working at their respective jobs. The Muroe High kendo club competes in the high school tournament, with only Tamaki achieving a victory. Miyako encounters Reimi Otajima, a former middle school classmate who harbors romantic feelings for her. Reimi, who is also the customer Tamaki previously met, had a history of harassing Miyako during their middle school years. This past trauma causes Miyako significant distress, preventing her from concentrating on her match. The episode concludes with Toraji discussing the potential addition of a fifth member with Kirino.
