Tamaki approaches the conclusion of her temporary position covering for Miyako, whereas the remaining club members engage in practice sessions at the kendo dojo. Meanwhile, Tamaki’s father continues to wonder whether she will purchase a birthday present for him. Toraji experiences misfortune while grocery shopping and encounters a woman who provokes his anger, potentially resulting in his dismissal from the kendo dojo. To avoid losing his job, he must enhance the abilities of the kendo club participants and prepare them for the forthcoming tournament. During Tamaki’s final shift at her part-time employment, an unidentified customer makes an appearance.
