Ep. 4: Seishu visits the village store and faces a cat scratch while preparing for a contest.

Seishu’s devices fail, prompting a trip to the village store. He pauses at a home where stray cats gather, and a man gives him a cat that scratches him, revealing his allergy. At the store, he meets Naru, Hina, and Akki. Seishu borrows Akki’s rotary phone to call his agent, focusing on his next contest. He accidentally knocks over seaweed belonging to Miwa’s father, who seizes the opportunity to have Seishu write a long kanji phrase for his new boat. Lacking proper tools, Seishu writes over handprints placed by Naru and her friends on the hull. Miwa’s father pays him with seaweed but becomes angry upon discovering Seishu practiced on the wooden boards intended for the boat.
