Taku, a talented sushi chef, aims to create Japan's finest sushi for his blind mother. After a truck accident leaves him without arms, driver Akira steps in to assist him. The two develop a unique bond and professional partnership. Tragedy strikes when Akira suffers severe burns while rescuing a child from a fire. He later dies in the hospital and instructs his wife to donate his arms to Taku.
