Among three remaining guardians, she is tasked with destroying the Orbital Elevator before Artemis finishes building it. If she fails, a mechanized army will take over the planet. Opposition comes from Artemis' Unmanned Forces and a cult, each possibly with their own goals.

Apr 3, 2022In 2062, two decades after the Elysion Project failed and its AI, Artemis, turned against humanity, the Earth lies in ruins. Empress, a young girl, wakes up in an underground research facility in San Francisco with no memories, driven only by a dream of Light House No. 8. She meets Norito and Miya, siblings scavenging for resources, and they travel to the surface together. Their journey is interrupted by an attack from Titan robot infantry units. Although Empress easily defeats the initial attackers, they face overwhelming numbers upon reaching the surface. Just as hope seems lost, Black Trike, a sentient motorcycle familiar with Empress, arrives to rescue them from the siege.
